2016 has turned out to be a great season for the club.
COACH OF THE YEAR ANDERSON MEDAL WINNER 2016 HOLDER OF HAWTHORN CUP
All Premier Teams had a massive turn around with their results in the second half of the season.Premier One won the last eight games against many opponents that had been on the winning side of the scoreline in first half of the season.
With the defeat of Lake Macquarie it saw Southern Beaches take hold of the coveted Hawthorne Cup. This was to stay in our clubs hands for the run to the Finals and 2016 saw Premier One hold the cup at the end of the season .
Secondly Johan Lourens,the Premier One Coach, was awarded the COACH OF THE YEAR for 2016. A well deserved award that saw him instill a sense of self belief in the players and a willingness to work for their fellow club members
Finally Michal De Lore was awarded the Anderson Medal for 2016 a coveted award for the Best and Fairest Player in the Hunter Competition
